InsideCounsel Names Palmer New Publisher

Chicago, Illinois (January 3, 2007) – WICKS Business Information, LLC (WBi) announced today that Brion D. Palmer has joined the company as publisher for InsideCounsel magazine, reporting directly to John Whelan, vice president, group publisher.

In his role as publisher, Palmer will lead the publication’s growth strategy and oversee several strategic innovations to the product, all designed to solidify InsideCounsel’s position as the most trusted source of business and legal intelligence for senior general counsel and other in-house legal professionals.

A graduate of Culver-Stockton College, Palmer has more than 19 years of publishing experience. Most recently, Palmer worked at Stamats as publisher of Interiors magazine. Prior to that, Palmer was vice president, group publisher of the Hospitality Division at RBI; vice president, e-development for RBI worldwide, and publisher of Manufacturing Systems. Brion has also been a frequent speaker at Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth on the future and trends of digital media.
