WICKS Business Information names Haddock as new Vice President of Technology

Fairfield, Connecticut, March 9, 2006 - WICKS Business Information, LLC (WBi) announced today that Joe Haddock has joined the company as Vice President of Technology, reporting directly to John Whelan, VP, Group Publisher. In his role as VP Technology, Haddock will oversee all aspects of WICKS Business Information's IT strategy, and lead the firm's growth strategy in web, database, and online innovations to our industry-leading suite of print products, including InsideCounsel, Investment Advisor, Credit Union Times, and Treasury & Risk Management. "Joe Haddock is an IT specialist with expertise in cutting-edge publishing technologies, who has a proven track record of creating profitable online extensions to traditional print media properties," said Whelan. "Joe is a business-minded IT professional who has provided great leadership and support to traditional media properties as they respond to the challenges - and opportunities - of the new media environment."

A ten-year New Media veteran, Haddock most recently worked at Source Media as Director of Web Development, where he managed a team of thirty programmers, designers, and developers, and managed fifty Web sites. Prior to that, Haddock was Director of Technology at Thomson Financial.
